OK, you had a tough day, you told us all about it, now get on with it. See the chaplain. Write your congressman. Everybody’s got it tough. Everybody’s got problems. Have a drink. Have a smoke. Pet the dog. Life isn’t fair. Fairs are for pigs and cows. Fairs are for rides and games and cotton candy and sno-cones and eating too much junk.
You don’t like your station in life? Catch the next train. Do what you gotta do to get that ticket. Little scared moving on? Beats where you are now right? If you don’t like that station, go to the next one. Get your wheels turning. Rev the engine and make your move. Don’t sit around in a state of mental paralysis. We usually don’t like our stations in life because other people put us there. Go where you wanna go.
If I only had the chance. If I only knew somebody who could help me. We can spend all day rueing the opportunities we never had. It makes for a long and gloomy day or night thinking about that. Think about what you can do, what you still have time to do. Maybe it’s just a little but it’s something. Like they say, life comes at you fast. Before you know it, you’re shuffling around. Got a dream? Try to make it happen. If it’s too late for that, think of another dream.
