A man woke up in the middle of a stormy night to find his bedroom television on and a disheveled man sitting in a folding chair in what looked like an abandoned house staring at him. He hadn’t left the set on. Odd, but he’d had been in a deep sleep so he gave it little thought and turned off the TV and went back to sleep.
The next night, the incident occurred again, shortly after 4 a.m.. He woke up and again the television was on and once more a strange and creepy looking man was just sitting in a folding chair staring at him. This time, he left the television on and watched it a bit. No sound, very little movement, just the figure staring at him. He became uneasy and turned the tv off again. How did the television seemingly turn itself on, who was this mysterious guy in the room looking at him, and why was this happening to him? Did someone or something have access to his tv somehow?
The next night, he anxiously went to bed and had a fitful sleep. What if it happened again? He could have unplugged the set, but what if it still came on? That would really be weird and even more frightening, so he left the set plugged in. Fortunately for him, it never happened again, and he is left with only the memory of those strange nights years ago with no rational explanation
