Ghosts of dogs and cats are seen roaming the grounds of the St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is said that they are looking for their former owners. No need to worry though friend, they’re friendly ghosts. The cemetery is often called the most haunted in the city, and perhaps the entire country.
New Orleans is by consensus considered the most haunted city in America. Other cities that have a lot of paranormal activity are Chicago, Charleston, South Carolina, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, the site of the massive Civil War battle, the oldest city in the United States, St. Augustine, Florida, Salem, Massachusetts from its history of witch trials, and San Francisco.
Haint blue is a color that is said to protect against “haints” or evil spirits who might want to harm the house or family inside. There are many shades of paint that qualify as Haint blue. Some people even paint their ceilings haint blue which is said to confuse bad spirits.The haint blue is supposed to look like water which has been said bad spirits cannot cross.
