It is said you should step
away from following the crowd and quietly go to work on your own self-awareness…in
other words, clean up your own back yard before you go around admonishing
others to clean theirs…if you wish to become one with the Dao, then awaken all
of yourself…if you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, first you must
eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself…and that can be quite a
challenge in itself…the greatest gift you have to offer to others is the gift
of your own self-transformation.
