It’s been written that
Lao-Tzu said: “Thus it is said: The path into light seems dark, the path
forward seems to go back, the direct path seems long, true power seems
weak...the greatest love seems indifferent, the greatest wisdom seems
childish.” I think what he means by that is that it isn’t always the obvious
that is the right choice…sometimes it’s what’s lurking in the shadows, or what
may seem not quite right to most…or something just around the corner that
brings the greatest reward…it’s like choosing the plain looking 4-H girl over
the homecoming queen…it may seem like a curious choice at the time, and a wrong
choice to some… but when you look back, you’re glad you did….trust your
judgement until it’s proven maybe you shouldn’t.
