“If you realize that all
things change, there is nothing you will try to hold on to. If you are not
afraid of dying, there is nothing you cannot achieve” so says Lao Tzu…a zen
master was asked to describe Buddhism in one phrase…he thought for a moment and
then said ‘everything changes’…and it does…so trying to hold on to a particular
moment of time…or a way things are…is pointless…things change and sometimes we
don’t like the change but you learn to live with it…the colt that you love
grows into a full grown horse…the little tree in the backyard grows into a big
oak tree…people live their lives and then die…that’s just the way it is…you
know the old saying ‘Time waits for no man’ and its true…Father Time is
undefeated.
