Pablo Picasso once said “Every
child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.”…
I think that what he meant by that or at least my interpretation of that is
that children grab a crayon or whatever and just start drawing…they don’t seem
to worry much about perspective or coloring inside the lines…it’s the pure
artist within them that comes out…when we grow up we are taught rules and are
expected to follow them…we conform and as a result, we lose our individual
identities…it’s like a giant funnel…we are a child when we are at the top and
we have the most room…by the time we get to the bottom of the funnel, we no
longer have much wiggle room…there are only a few that stay at the top and
create, purely create.
