Those things we know as
yin and yang are forever united. To see them as separate is to not be seeing the
situation clearly. It is this union that bonds all things together; that keeps
all things flowing and alive and makes sure that a balance is maintained. The more we understand about yin and yang and
their modus operandi, the better chance we have to become one with all. We’ll
have a clearer idea of how the great wonders work. The tides of the
ocean flow in and out. This tells us that yin and yang both flow in and out. If
you can perceive the patterns, you are alert to the flow of the world. You can
find consistency in the non-consistent. If you have trouble seeing these
patterns, you are lost. You are without a compass or the stars to guide you.
