The key to getting’
along with people is making them feel important. You gotta compliment ‘em and
show you’re interested in what their doing…some folks got a knack for that and
don’t mind playin’ along…I never cared to do that kind of stuff…With few
exceptions…I never wanted to know that much about them and I didn’t want them
to know much about me…ya gotta be a good actor and I don’t live in
Hollywood…some people are ‘people persons’…phonies mostly…I always went by the
motto that good fences make good neighbors or good acquaintances…you stay on
your side…and I’ll stay on mine…
