Under the setting sun and our frosty breaths we see each other’s souls in
our eyes. Your eyes meet mine and we share a smile and so much more. We know
this is it. You will look after my moccasins and I will give you the warmth of
my blanket until I can no longer do so. We cook and share our humble meal over
the campfire as a light snow begins to fall. The bond is unbreakable and is
sealed without saying a word. The look in your eyes says it all and I am
eternally grateful. This is the greatest day ever.
