We all have an
individual spirit somewhere inside us although I cannot say where it is exactly
and the Earth has a spirit too. Every day when we destroy the rain forests,
pollute the seas, and disrespect the planet that gives us life, we are crushing
the spirit of the Earth and damaging its ability to give us life. The Earth is
silent about this as it’s not one to complain, but it knows; it’s keeping a
running tab. We’re giving ourselves enough rope to hang ourselves with. In a
world of all take and no give, the delicate balance is thrown out of whack. If
we continue down that road, the planet will retaliate as it attempts to restore
that balance and the human race will pay the price; soon it’s going to be
closing time and we will have to pay for our bills in one way or another.
