Most people who follow
the way of the Dao believe that nature has got the answers to life's most
important questions; you know, the really important questions. Being one with
the Dao is a way of showing respect for the natural paradise we have here on
earth; a natural paradise that most are folding, spindling, and mutilating. The
idea that Mother Nature knows best is not a new one. Many people cling to
fables as they try to hang on to some form of existence. To try to control the
natural way of the Dao, to try to manipulate it for personal gain is likely to
have unintended consequences. These consequences will prove to be most
unfortunate to those that make that mistake.
