From the Dao comes
calm, harmony, and justice
Yet among people, there is
selfishness, cunning, falsity, violence
When people aspire to
unnecessary things
They lose the Way
This is why the wise
abandons vanity
And lets everything
happen by itself
One has to begin changes
with himself
I aspire to quietness
and calm
I do not aspire to
possessing many goods
I live with few worldly
attachments and passions
Often, the best way to
get something done
Is to do nothing
Let the Dao work for you
It is better to work
smart and easy
Rather than hard and
foolish
Be content with what you
have
And content with what
you do not
