The Way bears all things
Harmony nurtures them
Nature shapes them
Use completes them
Each follows the Way and
honors harmony
Not by artificial law,
but by being
The Way bears, nurtures,
shapes, completes
Shelters, comforts, and makes
a home for them
Bearing without possessing
Nurturing without taming
Shaping without forcing
This is harmony
How can one expect to
have harmony
If one is trying to
force outcomes
Or take possession of
impermanent things
To go with the flow of
the Dao
Is to raft in peaceful
waters
To try to control the Dao
is to face furious rapids and peril
We can change what we
can change
We need the wisdom to
know
What can be changed and
what cannot
What cannot be changed
must be adjusted to
