Sailing to the Bahamas last week, I couldn’t stop thinking about the El Faro, a cargo ship which got caught up in hurricane Joaquin and evidently sunk taking 33 lives; a terrible tragedy. We made it there and back thankfully avoiding the wrath of the storm. Now I hear that the Coast Guard has suspended the search for survivors. I feel profoundly sad and can only imagine the last moments of those on board. We just never know when it will be our time. The Dao is indifferent
