Great perfection seems
incomplete
But does not decay
Great abundance seems
empty
But does not fail
Great truth seems
contradictory
Great cleverness seems
stupid
Great eloquence seems
awkward
As spring overcomes the
cold
Autumn overcomes the
heat
So calm and quiet
overcome the world
It is tranquility that
overcomes heat
Action that overcomes
cold
It is the yin that calms
the yang
The yang that stirs the
yin
When others lose their
emotions
Hang on to yours
It is this clarity that
allows one to act of the Dao
