Not Alone

It is ironic that you can feel more alone around a large group of people than you might when you are entirely by yourself. Perhaps that is because when you are alone, there is no one around to directly or indirectly make you feel lonely. Of course, if you hear the lapping of the waves, or the wind through the trees or see the clouds in the sky, you shouldn't feel alone. You can find great strength in solitude; great reward too. One shouldn’t be afraid to be by themselves. One shouldn’t avoid it, but instead seek it.
