We are who we are and
the sooner we come to grips with that fact, the better we are. We can pretend
to be something we are not, but it is just pretend. We might fool others or
even ourselves but there is no fooling the ultimate. A mountain cannot pretend
to be a river, nor can a river pretend to be a forest. If we could only learn
to appreciate ourselves for what w
e are and ignore the ones who constantly
preach ‘self-improvement’ in their search of a dollar, and not beat ourselves
up for every mistake, we would be happier and make the world a happier place.
