Looking into the fire, we
look for answers and, sometimes they are there. The flames flicker and there is
a popping sound the wood makes. It’s all quite comforting whether we are
camping in a forest or just sitting in our backyard…we are always looking for
answers. We are besieged with questions we can’t even imagine. Sometimes, there
are no answers. The questions go unanswered and we go on the best we can. A
late night fire can promise much but usually results in a pile of cold ash in
the morning. Then comrade, we must ask ourselves…where did the answers go? Last
night’s answers may not be the right ones for this morning’s questions. We
question ourselves, our existence, our society, perhaps our government….and we
find there are many answers but they are not necessarily the right ones.
