Something has to start
for it to end. There is no escaping from this truth and we know that all good
things come to an end. We see it in nature. Tomorrow is not guaranteed to
anyone. I know one person who said she doesn’t want to be happy. That seemed strange
to me and I asked her to explain why. She said that she is afraid that if she
becomes happy, somehow her life will end soon after or that as soon as she
finds happiness, something bad is sure to happen. This of course is true. The
good is always followed by the bad, and bad news is often offset by good news
soon after. That is the way of yin and yang, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t
try to be happy; that somehow that will prevent sadness.
My life, -
How much more of it
remains?
The night is brief.
