The Tao Te Ching tells us to live our life and trust the Dao. But
then, is the Dao ever un-trustful? You can always count on the Dao to maintain
balance, if not in the short-term, then definitely in the long run. In that
manner, the Dao can always be trusted to keep things orderly. Good things
happen, bad things happen. We often cause most of our own grief so if there is
a perceived imbalance, we are the culprit. We have to live our life. Living
scared should not be an option. We must walk the tightrope between too little and
too much, between being too careful and being too reckless, between heeding the
advice of others and marching to our own drum.
