The Las Vegas Strip, it is everything I thought it would be. The
people filling the streets, so much so that the cars have to creep along and I
don’t know how there are not more pedestrians run down. The lights that are so bright
and invigorating. Endless shows. Endless things to do. We stay at a pyramid
shaped hotel. I go down to the lobby at 3 a.m. (I’m a night owl) and the casino
is full of people. Full of music. Full of excitement and action. My late father
always wanted to come to Las Vegas to see it for himself but he never made it
here before he died. In all the frenzy of the casino floor, I pause for a
moment and think of him.
