We often talk of
destiny, yet all of us have the right to choose as we wish among many things. It
is exciting to think that destiny exists and in sense in does. Yet, how can we
explain the randomness of life? Is this randomness part of destiny also? We may
choose unwisely, and if so we must live with the consequences. We may try to
blame others, but most of the time, it is solely on us for it is us that made
the choice. But even then, it is not necessarily the consequences that define
us, but how we handle and overcome the consequences. Instead of letting someone
or something get the best of us, we should try to give them or that our best. There
are many enemies that we may have and most of them are created by ourselves.
Often, we truly are our own worst enemy. We make rash decisions letting emotion
get the better of reason. We cut off our nose to spite our face as the old
saying goes. We have rollercoaster minds that go up and down, high and low, and
around in circles. It is always best to consider all the options before
deciding on what road to take and that road shall lead us to our destiny.
