After
the battle, many new ghosts cry,
The solitary old man worries and grieves.
Ragged clouds are low amid the dusk,
Snow dances quickly in the whirling wind.
The ladle's cast aside, the cup not green,
The stove still looks as if a fiery red.
To many places, communications are broken,
I sit, but cannot read my books for grief.

Everyone
has their own way of dealing with grief. Some deal with it better than others.
We have probably all been there when something happens, something so
distressing it leaves us incapacitated for a time. We are unable to think
clearly, unable to perform the simplest of tasks. However, as time passes, so
does the feeling of emptiness inside. Time takes time and it is then that we
must remember the lessons of yin and yang. The sun will shine once again after
the rain departs.
