Live your life,
ski your slope, hike your hike; whatever metaphor you choose it all comes down
to living life on your terms. Or at least on whatever terms you can get from
the fates. Sometimes life itself doesn’t cooperate, so you take what the
defense gives you to use a football analogy. You make lemonade out of lemons,
you take the good with the bad because that is the way it is. No one gets good
all the time and despite what some people who are chronic whiners want you to
believe, you don’t get bad all the time either. There are always going to be
detractors no matter what you do. Listen to good advice but stay true to your
own vision. Always trust the Dao.
