If something is divided,
it cannot be united. We find ourselves making divisions, yet we are all one. We
all share the earth, we all are born and we will all perish. We have so much in
common yet our society seems to splinter more each day; people in their own
worlds with little or no interest in anyone else’s; or people too busy to say
good morning because they are entranced with their electronic playmates that
have become the center of their universe. United we stand, divided we fall and
we seem to be falling more each day. Among the realm of the Dao, yin and yang
are not opposites, but complimentary. There is no division, they are united
even though they represent something entirely different from each other.
