In a remote part of the
country, there was a place called Black Creek Cemetery and there was an old
church next to the cemetery that was built in the 1800's. Now it is said that
one day a young girl and her little brother were walking home one night by
themselves. This took place after the turn of the century, not the most recent
one, but back in the early 1900’s.
Apparently, they made the unfortunate decision to take a short cut
across the cemetery. Now as fate would have it, a bear chased them into the bell
tower of the church where they were killed. It was said that you could go to
the church at the stroke of midnight and here the screams of the little
children. Now supposedly you could also hear the bear too as the church bell
would ring. Short cuts and cutting corners often result in undesirable
consequences.
