The bird known as the Quetzal
was believed to be a sacred animal to ancient native people including the Aztec
and the Mayas. Many times it was called The Rare Jewel Bird of the World. It
was frequently depicted in the native art of those times by the local artisans.
Royalty would often use the brightly colored tail feathers of the male for
decorative purposes. Whatever colors you have, shake off that inhibition and
unfurl them while remaining humble.
