It has been said that an
elephant never forgets. We of course don’t know if that is the case or not. It
may be erroneous to presume that making such a statement is true. In our case, sometimes it is
good to have a long memory and learn from the past. Other times, it might be
better to have a very short memory depending on circumstances and be able to
move on quickly. They say forgive and forget, but sometimes it is wiser to
forgive but not forget. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
One thing is for sure, the Dao never forgets.
