The impala is considered
to be one of the most adaptable animals living in the African savanna. It is
able to change its eating habits with the seasons and depending on what is
available in the near surroundings. The impala clearly knows that it must
change to its environment rather than expecting the environment around them to
change for their benefit. If we took a cue from our friend the impala, we could
more easily change and harmonize to what is around us for our benefit as well.
The only experience I have with an impala is the old, blue Chevy Impala
that I used to drive to high school in. The antenna was broke off, and the
passenger door had a big crease in it, and it had its share of rust on it, but
it was my car and what memories were made with and in it.
