Secretariat
Throughout the course of history, horses have been utilized for many things; transportation for the weary wayfarer, work, battle, and yes to the delight of us who are holding winning tickets, racing. I have heard the story of a man who gave a horse a hot pepper to eat. The horse chewed on it and did not care for it at all. The jokester walked over to his friends and was doubling over in laughter when the horse unbeknownst to him, walked up behind him and bit him on the rump. The man didn’t find that amusing, but his friends certainly did. There is a common term called ‘horse sense’. Most unfortunately, many people do not have this in their corral.
