The word Shogun
literally translates into military commander or general and was used to
describe one of the military governors of Japan from the 12th
century to the middle of the 19th century. Even today, the head of
the Japanese government is called a prime minister and the usage of the term
"shogun" still has continued in some forms. We should aim for this
lofty title. We should be the ‘shogun’ or commander of our own life, and not
let others try to run it. We have the power to do so and we should exercise
this power as the old shogun rulers did once long ago.
