If we only knew then
what we know now; if we only knew better…such are the ramblings of people ruing
some event that happened or perhaps didn’t happen. Experience can be a most
beneficial teacher. Hopefully by the time we gain wisdom from experience, it is
not a comb for a bald head. There is no sense in looking back wistfully. We
cannot alter what has already happened, but it would be most fortuitous if we
learn from the past; but as the song goes “We’re older but no wiser, for in our
hearts the dreams are still the same.”
