The poets have said that
the opposite of love is not hate, but indifference. This is true in many cases.
The burning passion turns into a dying ember incapable of lighting itself or
something else anymore. There is no more passion, no more feelings, just an
emptiness where something once was. We look back and may wonder what ever
prompted those feelings; but the past is full of mysteries and the
unexplainable. We evolve and everything within us and around us evolve too; all
these powerful forces evolving at one time. The sun sets below the horizon and
is never seen again, or if seen again is just a micro-fraction of what it was
once. The future is full of uncertainty but so is the past, perhaps even more
so. We look into the rear view mirror and can’t believe where we once were.
