Every time we drift away
from the teachings of the ancients, we grow a little darker in the mind. Every
time we slip away from the path, we are diminished. Every time we get caught up
in ourselves, we lose ourselves. When we become angry, we show how little we
know or how little we practice or both. If we stay close to the way, we stay
close to understanding, to finding tranquility in the most turbulent of waters,
order in all of the chaos.
