The Dao is not the Dao; we have all heard that many times
but it’s not that complicated as we may think or been told to think. That chair
you sit on isn’t a chair either, you’re not breathing air, you’re not drinking
tea…just names, convenient little names we as humans have come up with. The
sages have given us guidelines, but interpretation is in the eye of the beholder.
We each interpret the Dao a little different from the next one. We each find it
in our own way, through a book, through our experiences or being slammed down on the asphalt.
