Those who are one with
the Dao do not care about popularity. In fact, they are often seen as outcasts
by the so-called normal people of society. Popularity is cheap and often
fleeting. Being one with the universe and adhering to the teachings of the Dao
ancients is everlasting and most wise. We must be honest, the way of the Dao
will never win a popularity contest among the general population, but anytime
one has to deal with the general population, the outcomes are always going to
be, shall we say, sketchy.
