We could consider the
wind our friend or foe depending on whether we are walking or rowing a boat
into it or with it. It would be however a mistake to consider the Dao either a friend or
a foe. The Dao takes no sides, it plays no favorites, it is indifferent and
detached. It most definitely is not a team player. It simply does what it does
without being partial to one side. All things that are natural happen like
this.
