The streets of Kyoto are full of little shops offering trinkets, noodles, tea, and knickknacks. You have the option of purchasing what you like or not buying anything at all. There are beautiful temples in the city where you can meditate and rake rocks. You could spend a great deal of time and money coming here, but would it accomplish anything? All the neon covers up what is. This is true of any city, what lies beneath? If you want to know anything true, look in the backyard of the house. Do not be fooled by the front yard.
