We pour tea into the
cup mindlessly, we drink it mindlessly. We go about our days mindlessly. How
much different it would be if we were mindful instead; mindful of our own
breath, mindful of the leaf falling from the tree and scraping along the
asphalt parking lot in the afternoon wind, mindful of all that surrounds us, mindful
of what is truly important here. If we are mindful of the teachings of the Dao,
we can be at ease, at peace, and in perfect union with the universe.
