The Dao remains
undefeated, untied; simply perfect. It wins without struggle and overcomes all
foes. There is no way to defeat the Dao, for even the most skilled warrior, the
wisest general, the most exalted conqueror will go down to defeat. Without
effort, the Dao rolls on through it all. Perhaps we can learn something from
this. Maybe there are times when we just try too hard for things. if we learned
to pull back, we could go forward.
