It is tranquility
that defeats the heat. Siestas provide a welcome respite from the tropical
temperatures that can make one feel uncomfortable. When things are headed one
way, the opposite way is usually the way to balance them. Hence, the cold is
defeated by the warming sun, the drought by the rain, the snowy winter day by
the warm summer day. It is always the darkest before the dawn, hope is reborn,
light conquers dark.
