We know that the
winds of criticism can be damaging to us but we must also realize that the
winds of praise can be just as destructive. To be swayed by either can lead to
most unfortunate consequences. We must remain steady and not be blown off
course. The Dao is our compass, our North Star, that helps us cross the vast
expanse of sea and leads the way to being one with the universe and not getting
sidetracked or detoured and settling for less.
