The Dao is free, but learning
about the Dao may not be. Go to the bookstore and you will find many books
about the Tao Te Ching for example. Some may be packaged better or may be more
appealing to the eye than others, but they are really all shades of the same
flavor. Do not be misled into thinking that you have to have this, or buy that or
do this to be a real “Daoist.” Daoism is about understanding the relationship
between the yin and the yang, about being one with the universe, and creating
inner harmony. It is not about wearing certain clothes, bowing, or any other rituals.
