We do so many things
in our lives that are un-fulfilling and unrewarding. We work at jobs that offer
no satisfaction or gratification other than a meager check at the end of the
week. We follow the rules that some arbitrary figure made in the hopes of remaining
employed. Most people do not live to work, but work to live. They don’t own
possessions, their possessions own them. The dreams of their youth have slipped
away and they are now doing the long slow fade. It is amidst this darkness,
that it is essential that we seek out the beauty of the Dao and its wisdom.
