By a lie, a man...
annihilates his dignity as a man. These words were spoken by the noted
philosopher Immanuel Kant. He has a point of course, but do we not all live a
life of lies? Even the most noble of those walking the Earth have been involved
in some kind of lie. We lie to others, but most tragically we lie to ourselves;
fooling ourselves we are what we are not, presenting a false façade to those
around us; putting our best foot forward when it is the other foot that holds
us back.
