The
ocean tides come and go. They ebb and they flow. They know what to do, they
understand their place in the world. Sometimes people do not understand their
place in the world or simply choose not to take their place. They may be called outcasts, misfits, loners. Some of these
same people may hear the call of the Dao and they answer it without worrying
about whether some ‘expert’ is judging them. On the contrary, you may have some
people who feel the world owes them something. Some feel they are above the
natural law of the universe. The Dao sees to it that they are put in their
place so to speak. No one defeats the Dao, or tricks it.
