Count
not what is lost, but what is left. If you are ruing that the cup is now only
half-filled, how can you possibly enjoy the half that remains? That which is
gone cannot be retrieved. Water that has passed under the bridge on its way to
the sea, does not return. The man who mourns the passing of the morning cannot
appreciate the afternoon or evening. Those who live in the past cannot thrive
in the present or future. Stop looking behind you and start looking around you.
Stay in the real and practice mindfulness.
