Tarkington writes in one chapter; ’"Old times?" Morgan laughed gaily
from the doorway. "Not a bit! There aren't any old times. When times are
gone they're not old, they're dead! There aren't any times but new times!"
Old times can be fun to remember but if you live in the past, you will be
passed by. Nothing is the same anymore and nothing was how you remember it now.
Nothing was as great as you think it was. The painful memories lessen with the
passage of time. The moon crosses the sky, seasons change.
