We
are all mutual travelers on the path of the Dao. There are no teachers, only
guides. It is up to one’s own self to learn what must be learned, to practice
what must be practiced, to see what must be seen. There is no one that can do
it for you. We gain our wisdom from our guides and days we have lived; the
experiences that seek to teach us. The wisest sage may wear the most tattered
of robes, or no robe at all perhaps.
